Specifically, every time I start a new Debug session, I need to redo the following:
Display Watch 1 (Debug->Windows->Watch->1)
Display Watch 2 (Debug->Windows->Watch->2)
Change Memory 1 window to show 16 columns.
Reposition all debug windows in IDE.

Why do I need to disrupt my workflow and redo this manual work every time I enter a debug session? The IDE remembers the state and position of other windows, so why not the debug windows?

Hi @DWOBSER73,

Thanks for reporting this issue.
We are moving from PSoC Creator software to ModusToolBox software. So unfortunately an update in PSoC Creator is highly unlikely.  This feature is supported in ModusToolBox. You can try using ModusToolBox software.

Warm Regards,
Gautami J

Hi @DWOBSER73,

Apologies for the delay in response.

You can add multiple variables, registers, or expressions in a watch window.

You can also use 4 watch windows.

Please refer to the PSoC Creator user guide to know more information.

Warm Regards,
Gautami J

Thanks for your response, but you didn't address my issue at all.

I *know* how to use the watch windows, etc... that's what I'm doing.

I'm trying to report a defect in the IDE, the fact that it doesn't persist the IDE layout for debug windows, the way it does with all other development windows.
