How can a new PSoC 4100S Plus design be future-proofed for migration to a PSoC 4100S Max device or any other new PSoC 4 devices that haven't yet been released?

Does Infineon have a schedule for migration of more PSoC 4 devices into ModusToolbox?

Might Infineon consider adding new PSoC 4 devices into PSoC Creator?

PSoC 4100S Plus is ONLY supported in PSoC Creator.
PSoC 4100S Max is ONLY supported in ModusToolbox.

Hi @GrCa_1363456 ,

All new PSoC or any other microcontroller series will be supported on ModustoolBox IDE.

PSoC Creator is in maintenance mode and no further development will happen there, as of now. PSoC Creator wont support newer devices.

PSoC 4100S Plus is supported in both PSoC Creator & MTB.
PSoC 4100S Max is ONLY supported in ModusToolbox.

Warm regards,

Sobhit

Sobhit,

Thank you. I see now that after selecting a BSP in MTB the subfamily of the part shows up. I.E. Clicking the CY8CKIT-149 BSP under PSoC 4 BSP in the BSP selector of MTB, I see that part is in the PSoC 4100S Plus family.

Regards,

Greg
