PSOC4 touch design issue

In the touch design, the recommend Cmod is 2.2 nf.  What will happen, if I use 1.1 nf capacitance as the modulation capacitance?

How to choose a suitable value capacitor?   After all, different product have different Cp.

I choose 1K resistor between the MCU touch IO and touch sensor.  What is the effect of the size of this resistor?
