PSOC4 TouchPad size with channel number?

Dear  Cypress:

       if  we  want to design a  touchpad, can you help to provide the relationship between touchpad size and  channel number, for example  in 5*5cm touchpad size, what number of channel  should we need?

and For larger , 10*10cm ,What should we do ?

Pattern design:

• 25-mm
  diameter round touch area;
• 5x5
  sensor scan;
• Pitch = 5 mm;
• Gap = 0.15mm~0.22mm;
• Bridge width = 0.1mm~0.15mm.

具体的 sensor number需要自己计算。
