I am using PSOC 4 part number CY8C4025AZI-S413 to develop water tolerance capsense keyboard.Normally the hatch is connected to GND signal, but for water tolerance we have to connect hatch with one shield pin. Then how it should enable or disable in code??or only click on enable option in sch. component??
Any drastic change in sensitivity found in with & without water tolerance design???

Hi bhsa_4078721
To enable shield, you just have to select the option in the CapSense configurator GUI. This option is present under Advanced tab -> CSD settings.
One thing to note is that the shield waveform must be identical to the sensor's waveform in phase, frequency and amplitude. This is automatically taken care by the component, however, you need to verify that the shield is being charged and discharged completely. This can be verified by probing the shield line using an oscilloscope.
If the charging and discharging is not complete, you need to lower the sense clock frequency of the sensor to make sure that shield has enough time to charge and discharge.
Thanks and regards,
Hari
