I have a question regarding the tuning of Magsense.

In the application note MagSense Inductive Sensing it is said that the IDAC Value should be set to 70% of the full scale of raw count.

But there is no information at what the full scale value of the raw count is. Therefore setting the IDAC value without auto-calibration is difficult.

I understand that due the oversampling the full scale of the raw counts increase with the number of subsamples.

For more information about how i can calculate or know the full scale value of the raw counts i would be very pleased.

Hi sefu_4636006,

The MaxCount is given by ,

MaxCount = (NSub * modClk)/ LxClock

Example, if NSub = 100, ModClk = 48 Mhz, LxClk = 1 Mhz -> MaxCount = 4800.

The above formula is derived from the Max value of NsubConv that can be set
