Chip Alternative CY8C27443-24SXI

Hello Everyone. We have been using CY8C27443-24SXI for years and we have an out of state engineer who has done our programming but has passed away and we are in a situation. The above chip is out of stock until march 2022 it looks like. Can anyone recommend a substitute that we can drop in without modifying anything?

It is very difficult to recommend a substitute which will not require any changes at all. CY8C27643-24PVXI can be substituted if a PCB layout change can be done. Kindly let us know the project resources you have, and we will advise of an appropriate solution.

Thanks for the recommendation. However those chips are backordered even longer than the original we use.
