Hey,
I began to design my proximity sensor with the example with Capsense CSD v2.60 but it seems that the Capsense v6 more recent.
Then I wonder if it's better to use Capsense v6 or Capsense CSD and Why?
Is there any better performance?
I only need the self capacitance in my project.
Thank you,
Alex

Hi
It is recommended to use the new CapSense v6.0 for all new designs to benefit from new features and enhanced performance.
Please refer to the Migration guide under Capacitive sensing document, page 152 for details on the difference between the versions.
Link: https://www.cypress.com/file/442046/download
It provides an API level comparison between the two component versions.
The section also provides a guide on how to upgrade to the latest version of CapSense component.
Thanks and regards

However, if you need to use ALP filter in your design, the old component has to be used as the new component doesn't support ALP filter.
