Hello,

I have a load cell based on Capacitance variation. The initial value of this sensor is about 100 pF and by applying load the capacitance variation is about 1pF/kg.

I need to measure this capacitance variation using PSOC-4 or PSOC5 kits.

May you please explain how I can make it. Had a look on many of examples and datasheets, none of them is related to my situation.

I have found some functions such as CapSense_ReadSensorRaw() (which returns 0), but have no idea what it does exactly and what other functions should be called before to set it up.

Hi Amir,

The BIST functions of CapSense may help to measure external capacitance.

For more details, read datasheet of CapSense Component.

If you are a beginner of PSoC CapSense, recommend to learn it with start from:
