CY8C4014FNI-421AT WLCSP ZIF sockets for pre-programming the MCU

Hello!

This is regarding the pre-programming options available for PSoC 4 MCU (CY8C4014FNI-421AT, 16-Ball WLCSP (1.45x1.56x0.42mm). I tried reaching out to a list of Device system programmer companies that help pre-programming the MCUs before soldering the device onto a target PCB. But I couldn't find any of the companies offer program adapters or programmers that can specifically help pre-program these devices. It will be great if someone could advise me on whether Cypress provides the compatible ZIF sockets for the WLCSP package that I can buy to design a program adapter for these small BGA devices.

Hi Nandhini,

I have checked internally and as this is a relatively new package, we have not used it in any of our kits and do not have any recommendation too.There can be third party programmers whom you can check with, but we do not have any source or recommendation as of now.
