Dear Sirs,

I have some trouble about circuit are using PSoC 4100M Family.

with power on or when I program, it is difficult to start correctly the CPU.

specifically, when power on cpu does not start correctly, I have to wait many minutes between each power on. I try to short-circuit Vcc, but it's very difficult to restart it.

When I program the CPU, it is difficult to program, a message tells me that the CPU is not recognized. I have to short-circuit Vcc many times, and then I can program.

How can I do? Should I use a CPU hardware reset?

Thank you

Hi user_297242135,

Could you please share snapshot of the schematic of your design?

What are you short circuiting VCC with?

Also, make sure that the decoupling capacitors are placed as given in the datasheet.

Bragadeesh

Hi user_297242135,

Thanks for the update. We don't find anything wrong with the schematic as such.

Please let us know the following:

1. How you are programming your device? Miniprog?

2. Did you try programming using PSoC Programmer?

3. Could you please share the screenshot of the error message?

4. Can you please share screenshot your select debug target window?

4. Could you please let us know the steps to reproduce the issue so that we can try it at our end?

Regards,

Bragadeesh
