This thread deals with programming an XMC4500 uC by using the XMC-LIB from Infineon.
Maybe somebody else is interested in this kind of programming.
I'll add in the next weeks code files / code examples, for different peripherals on the XMC4500 (especially the driver level, and peripherals needed for a quadrocopter realization)
This peripherals will be provided at first instance:
The code will generally be written in classic C, but I'll try to keep the functions flexible, so it shouldn't be a big deal to implement the Code in other high-level languages.
I'm programming the source code in eclipse (a DAVE Application is not necessary)
If you have any questions and suggestions, do not hesitate to contact me. Show Less

I understand that the standard ESD 20.20 is revised from ver.2007 to ver.2014.
As part of the change I identified that the Process required insulators/isolator conductor and few EPA controlled items have been newly added into the verion.2014.
I have the below query for which I need your clarifications.
Query 1:
I wanted to know which all (for example., paper, pen, screw driver etc.) are categorized under Process required insulators and Isolator conductor.
Can you please help me on the above categorization.
Query 2:
There are precautionary measure defined to prevent the charge being generated from the Process required insulators from affecting the ESD.
But I would like to know if I have to measure Electric field for each Process required insulators ,every time I perform ESD testing.
For example if I am using paper and measuring the electric field and in the next step if I use screw driver do I have to again measure the electric field.
Similarly do I have to keep measuring for all the items every time.
Query 3:
Could you please share an documents or explain about the isolator conductors in detail. Show Less

Hello all,
The current getting started examples published on the XMC11/12/1300 boot kits' webpage are based on the XMC Lib (LLDs).
But I understand that for some users, it is still preferred to have the some simple examples showing directly the accesses to the peripheral registers.
Hence, I attached the previously available non-LLD / non-APP example codes.
These covers the following peripherals:
- ACMP
- ADC
- CCU4/8
- CORDIC MATH Coprocessor
- ERU
- GPIO
- IIC
- POSIF
- RTC
- SPI
- SysTick
- UART
- WDT

EtherCAT DAVE4 apps Getting Started with XMC4800 relax kit
Explore this hands on training which is created using the DAVE4 EtherCAT apps which offer convenience to software development.
Overview
This training shall guide you on how to create an EtherCAT slave using the XMC4800 relax kit and DAVE4 apps. It provides the instructions on how to do the memory mapping of the EtherCAT Salve and also to integrate the Slave Stack Code into the DAVE4 project.
Lastly we shall make use of the EtherCAT Master (TwinCAT2) to control the ON/OFF of the LEDs and monitor the buttons of the XMC4800 relax kit.
Please download the zip file "HOT_XMC48_ECAT_GettingStarted Dave4.zip" which contains the following
- Power point slides which describe the project system implementation and XMC configurations that can be found in the Document folder.
- A working example project to be import into DAVE4 which can be found in the DAVE4 project folder. Show Less
