Goodmorning,
We're using the device Am79C973 "PCnet™-FAST III Single-Chip 10/100 Mbps PCI Ethernet Controller with Integrated PHY". We have different lots of this device, and by interrogating their ID registers via JTAG, they differ by bit 30 and 29.
We consulted its Datasheet (in Attachment), and as we understood based on Table 18, they states the version of the device (bit 31-28).
We have devices with bit 31-28 equals to 0100 and 0010.
We can't find any info of what is the difference based on the version, can You provide those information for us?
Thank you.
