I have a radar GUI BGT60LTR11AIP shield and the usb micro contoller.

I cannot enter advanced mode -- I removed R6 and set R18 = 0 Ohm from the shield.  The GUI still does not enable selection of advanced mode.  What am I missing.  The firmware is up to date and the GUI was down loaded yesterday.  The Basic GUI works, all other settings can be changed and the time domain, spectra and acquisition work.

Hi

Sorry, there is some correction on the above reply.

The "advance mode" is specific to the Radar MMIC and has nothing to do with the GUI. The "expert mode" of the GUI lets users configure more options in the GUI and it has zero relationships with the "advance mode" of the MMIC.

It may be possible that the MMIC has already entered the "advance mode" but GUI won't show that.

I hope that clears the doubt.

Thanks

The GUI calls it User Mode --> Expert; it is grey and can not be selected

Hi

Please help me with the following:

1. Set R6=0 ohm and remove R18 and does GUI shows Expert mode?

2. May I know the exact use case of the advanced mode in your application?

Thanks
