Can S29GL256S NOR flash be used as primary booting memory for Zynq 7000. I checked the Zynq 7000 compatible devices but didn't find this particular device on the list. Is it possible to confirm the compatibility?
Unfortunately, S29GL256S is not supported with Zynq 7000. The Zynq 7000 supports NOR flash with x8 data width only. The S29GL256S supports x16 only (does not have x8 option).
