Hello Toshinari,
Thank you for contacting Cypress Technical Support, an Infineon Technologies Company. Yes, Security Regions 2 and Security Region 3 can be locked with a password as follows Region 2 with an address range of 200 to 2FF and Region 3 with an address range of 300 to 3FF. The Security Region Password Protection Bit in the IRP Register (IRP[2]) allows Regions 2 and 3 to be protected from Program and Erase operations until a password is provided. The Security Region Read Protection Bit in the IRP Register (IRP[6]) allows Region 3 to also be protected from Read operations until a password is provided. Attempting to read in a region, that is protected from read, returns invalid and undefined data.
Thank you
Regards,
Bushra
