Is the memory array data all cleared (0xFF) for FLASH that arrives as a genuine product? Customers are considering the need for clearing in shipping inspections after mounting on products.

Hello,

FLASH is shipped from Infineon in Blank.
Therefore, I think it is OK to omit Erase, but we recommend that you perform "Blank Verify" when considering the operation of the customer's process.

Unlike the Erase process, the Read process does not take much time.
If something goes wrong with writing, you can isolate where the problem is.
(Is it a problem before writing? Is it a problem of writing?)

Best Regards,
