FAT32 file system for NOR flash along with suggestion for a 32MB flash type for automotive related application.

Hi, 

I'm in the process of deciding an external flash for one of our products.

The main purpose of the flash is for logging and storing software update. (mostly looking at the NOR flash types)

I'm looking at 32MB memory size with SPI access.

As we would like to get it going asap, I would like to know if Infineon provide with FAT32 package for the external flash, sort of ready-to-use, type of support?

As I our application is related to automotive, it will be also helpful if you could suggest some external flash product code that fit the requirement.

Any help on this will be much appreciated.

Hello,

We don't have any active 32Mbit SPI NOT flash devices. Minimum density available is 64Mbit. Can you use 64Mbit devices in your application? If yes, please check our S25FL064L devices. Thanks for that. 

Does infineon does NAND flash of 32MB or 128Mb with Spi communication. I looked in the website and there is no information on NAND at all.  Do they not make any of these please?
