Abs. max ratings of Junction temperature (Tj) for S25FL064LABMFM00 and S25FL128SAGMFMG00

Hi,

Thermal resistance and Ambient temperature are find in product datasheet but I could not find the Tj (abs max ratings) .

About AEC-Q100 gd.1 certified device, is the absolute maximum ratings 150 degC?

And i just want to make sure the thermal calculation.

Can I use "002-01006_AN201006_Thermal_Considerations_and_Parameters.pdf" to these devices?

Hi Shohei,

Yes, you can use our application note AN201006 (http://www.cypress.com/file/210756/download​ ) to calculate junction temperature of our flash devices. Please see the corresponding thermal parameters below.

S25FL064LABMFM00 (SOIC 16)

Theta JA: 46 °C/W

Psi JT: 0.3 °C/W

S25FL128SAGMFMG00 (SOIC 16)

Theta JA: 38°C/W

Psi JT: 7.8°C/W

S25FL064LABMFM00: 150C

S25FL128SAGMFMG00: 125C

S25FL128SAGMFMG00 is authorized AEC-Q100 grade.1, so user can not use this product in Ta 125degC environment if Tj max is 125degC.

Please confirm this information again.

Do you have any update? I think the absolute max Tj of S25FL128SAGMF"M"G00 is above 125degC because this product authorized by AEC-Q100 Grade 1 (-40°C to +125°C).
