Hello. The PCB which we are designing, has to have high reliability. And we want to calculate failure rate of PCB.
Regarding this, we must know components failure rates but I could not access these values.
I am planning to use Cypress’s product which has manufacturer number CY15B102Q-SXE.
How can I reach MTBF/FIT values?

Hi Zerrin,
Please see the below report. It is applicable to all the FRAM parts.
Thanks,
Pradipta.

Can we take the SER value as a failure rate? I asked this because as we know, the failure rate is "failures / hour" but the SER value FIT/Mb .
If we can't, How can we change the value as Failure/Hour?

Hi Zerrin,
The term FIT (failure in time) is defined as a failure rate of 1 per billion hours. A component having a failure rate of 1 FIT is equivalent to having an MTBF of 1 billion hours.
Thanks,
Pradipta.
