Hello,
We need solution as well as list of driver IC part number to drive AC servo motor.
We are developing a pump for a bio-pharma process, and it will be used in chromatography, tangential flow filtration etc.
We had a few queries on this-
1) For your evaluation board what is the generally recommended AC servo motor that can be used (please share us a reference part number)
2) Availability of the driver IC, price for 5 units, quote (MoQ = 5k/annum) & link to purchase
3) Availability of the eval board, price for 5 units, quote (MoQ = 5k/annum) & link to purchase
4) Possibility of free samples for the driver IC & evaluation board
5) Firmware user manual
6) Any case studies on the use of the IC
7) Can the IC be driven using a MCU?
😎 Any EoL or obsolescence plan for the product?
9) Lead time for evaluation board & driver IC, if any
10) Presence of an eval board for this driver IC with MCU instead of MPU
Certain other details about our project –
1) Client = Based out of USA, at the moment we can’t disclose the name due to NA of NDA but in case the product suggested by you seems feasible we will go ahead with the necessary legal paperwork & complete the NDA formalities.
2) Application = Bio-pharma for movement of fluids & cells
3) Target price = NA (no limit set by customer yet)
4) Design Location = India
5) Production Location = TBD (we are still in feasibility stage)

Milankumar
Show Lesshello.
I'm curious about this part.
What is the difference between single shunt and leg shunt?
Can you tell me the pros and cons?
please answer about my question.
thank you
Show LessHello,
We developped a specific power PCB to drive a Brushless Motor (34KV and 20KW)
Specifications in datasheet are :
No. of Pole : 62
Arms : 3.7A
Rated Speed : 34 RPM/V (I try with 25V)
Line to Line Resistance : 0.008Ohms
Line to Line Inductance : 0.008mH
Configuration file is attached to the post
Here is a video of the motor try to run: Oscillation_Video
-We put a 500rpm value set. But the motor oscillate between 200 and 600rpm
-The start of the motor is a little bit difficult.
Our schematic is the same than EVAL-M1-05F804R except these values :
-amplification part of the shunt : R18=1KOhms / R30=1220Ohms / R26=5412Ohms.
Do you have some ideas on how to solve these oscillations behavior ?
Regards,
Show LessHI, Help me to get answer of below questions
1. We are not using the shunt resistor to sensce the phase current.
2. We are using current transducer (Current transformer) to sense the phase current. Is it possible to get the sensor signal to uC if we connect two current transducer as below -
Sensor 1 O/P >=> ISPx
Sensor 2 O/P >=> ISNx
1. AGND , GND CP_GND are isolated or not ? - Please confirm

I am currently using EVAL-M3-302F with EVAL-M3-CM615PN for an application. I can properly control the motor using the MCE designer. But to be able to control the motor externally I want it to be done using the UART1 of the chip. I have read in another post on community that UART 1 can also be used for user application without going through the MCU core(A core).
I have followed all the necessary steps to configure UART1 for user application. I use the example script provided for both(buffer and fifio mode). But It failed to communicated with my external microcontroller. When I probe pin 64 & 63 of the IMC302A-64, the pins are at zero volt. Does this mean that UART1 is not active?
How can I do this properly ?
Show LessHi,
I am currently using EVAL-M3-102T and EVAL-M3-CM615PN to run a BLDC motor. I have no problem running the motor at above 200 RPM. However when I try to run at low RPM between 30 to 100, the torque is very weak. The motor can't run with heavy load at these low speeds.
How do I solve this?
I am currently using only back emf(sensorless). My application requires the motor to run between 20 to 300RPM with a nominal load weight of 15KG.
Thanks

Hello,
Ihave made some test of the I motion solution, using IMC101T-T038 and different associated control boards.
The result regarding motor drive is good.
Now I have a question regarding system requirments, can you confirm there is no way to store non volatile data in the component (so only using an external microcontroller can solve)?
The idea will be to store a fault recorder.
Regards.
Show LessHi everyone,
I will start the design of an AC voltage controller circuit, I will use it to control a 220VAC single-phase motor and I would like to know if there is any driver for this purpose, I could use microcontrollers and discrete systems, but I would like to make a very compact design since the motor is low power, could you recommend a driver for this purpose?
1. I want to STOP motor specific position.
I attached the Limit Switch to product.
and Run motor with IMC301-F064
Motor has Slow Speed ( 5~10RPM) and meet the limit switch. motor need to stop immediately.
But Motor always stop different Position.
I already programmed "Critical Over Voltage" Low.
Surely. Motor Stop faster than before adding code about "Critical Over Voltage"
But Motor always stop different Position.
How to I Stop it exact Position. (Limit Switch Position)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If I Attached the ToF Sensor.
Can I control the Stop position?
Thank you.

What is the maximum input voltage for EVAL_IMD700A_FOC_3SH board?
The operating voltage of the EVAL_IMD700A_FOC_3SH and IMD700A are totally different. So I am confused.
The application note of EVAL_IMD700A_FOC_3SH says, input voltage is 12 to 24V. Same side, the datasheet of the IMD700A says, operating voltage is 5.5V to 60V.
My question is, If I am give the voltage more than 24V, what would happen?
I attached the screenshot of the application note of EVAL_IMD700A_FOC_3SH and datasheet of the IMD700A for your reference.
Kindly helping me to clarifies the doubt.
