Hi,

Im trying to run an induction motor with the following evaluation boards: EVAL-M1-101T and EVAL-M1-IM818-A.

Motor charateristics:

P = 0.75kW

I = 2 A

U = 400 V

RPM =1390

poles = 4

Rs = 19.4 ohm

Lq = Ld = 70 mH

Ke = 3.173 V / Krpm, this value caused an error, the lowest i could put was 40

Researching in the forum i found out that i need to make some ajustments based on this document:Induction motor control by iMOTION™ (infineon.com)

I tried to follow that, but i don't think my MCEWizard config is correct.

The motor started, but stoped 1s after and gave gatekill error. To errase that error i tried to change the Gatekill Input Source to Gatekill-Pin, and the motor didn't gave an error, but the currents i saw in MCEDesigner were very high, so i think the problem is in the MCEWizard config.

It is possible for someone to check this and help me put this motor running correctly?

Hello

I changed winding for motor stator.

Because It was to problem of overtemperature.

So It changed the spec on Ld , Lq , Back EMF (ke).

Originally this motor is working well but after winding changed it have problem is flux.

After changed , It have another problem of flux estimator.

Motor is working well but 300rpm situation is have error code on flux out of control

It does not rpm ramp up

I don't know this cause.

Can you help me this problem?

Recently, we want to do some fault injection test about TLE9180, are there any suggestion about follow items：

1.  Overload of charge pump 1/2;

2. Overload of digital output pins(MISO/ERR pins);

3. Input pattern violation

I try to use "short GL1 to GND" &"short CH2 to CL2"  to trigger  item1 & 2 according to <safety manual of 9180>(follow picture)， but I can't get the right diagnosis. I need some help from you. Thank you!

I am designing a Brushed Motor Controller with 2x BTN8962TA. I am having trouble following the datasheet for the current sense. I have a 3.3V ADC to read the voltage. Given that V_IS = R_IS * I_IS, and I_IS = 5mA in a fault condition, R_IS should be 660Ohm for a max of 3.3V on V_IS, correct?

However, when I use the formula I_IS = (1/dk_ILIS) * I_L (ignoring offset for now) with I_L = 40A and dk_ILIS = 1000, I get I_IS = 0.04A. When converting to V_IS = 660Ohm * 0.04A = 26.4V, which obviously isn't correct. What am I doing incorrectly here? I'd like to measure the current with a 3.3V ADC and the BTN8962TA.

I am trying to run motor in low RPM it runs fine but if put a sudden load motor stops and tries to start again and important point is i cannot use current control method only voltage control is possible.

Is there any solution to rectify this problem please let me know.

I am starting off using i motion. I'm using Eval-M1-101T + Eval- M1-IM828A. I wanted to connect to the 101T module to look at it's firmware. later on using MCE Designer, I tried uploading the Firmware supplied in the documentation. Designer prompted that there is a firmware difference and when I went to program the 101T board, the status lights turned off and Designer prompted that the connection was terminated and the EVAL board wasn't working at all. there's nothing wrong with the power board and on checking for shorts or open circuits on the board, there weren't any. 
I would appreciate anyone some help regarding diagnosing the problem and finding a solution.

I am trying to connect my IMC 101T-F048 with imotion solution designer but i am not successful in establishing the connection. I have tried to change UART port (0 and 1) even disabled it but still i am unable to connect with my controller. Please guide in this regard.  On programmer i am getting this error " Target is not connected, please check cables, power supply and target interface settings" . If i used target to connect with the controller i have received this error in logs "sendToPlugin(ScriptDebugger, setGDBport(1383)) timed out". Please help i am waiting for your response.
