Hi
Question is regarding the behavior of VO1 and ERR pin of TLE9180 IC.
While reducing the VS supply slowly from 10V to 0V, around VS=4.6V, VO1 and ERR pin are pulsating at random frequency from 2.5V to 0V and 3.3V to 0V respectively.
Other pins status during this period is : CB=8.6V, INH = Hi.
Can not find the satisfactory reason for this and is it normal operation?
(Probably IC is in ROP as operating within VVSROP).

What you observe is correct. Please find the explanation below:
In this case, you are observing the transition to reduced operation mode of the device. In Reduced Operation mode, the logic is operational but the IOs are not properly supplied and therefore SPI communication does not work and all digital pins are disabled. The output stage of the operational amplifier is also not supplied. This means the device function is not anymore given.
Vs=4.6V is around the range of voltage where the device enters this reduced operation mode. The pulsations of the voltage is due to the device moving in and out of the reduced operation mode.
For further explanation on the reason for the pulsations, please note that the OpAmp and the Digital outputs are not supplied during reduced operation mode. Hence the VS pin has less current consumption and so the VS pin voltage increases slightly. This triggers the device to exit from the reduced operation mode. Now, in the normal operation mode, the OpAmp and I/O are again activated and so the VS pin voltage again drops. This fall in VS voltage results in re-entry of the device in reduced operation mode. The fluctuation width when VO1 is enabled again, when reduced operation mode is exited should be in range of 20 – 30us
