I have two EVAL boards.
IM818 and IM828.
The difference between these two is Leg-shunt and Single-shunt.
1.If I set the high-speed RPM, the LEG-shunt goes up to the high-speed RPM well and maintains it well.
2. However, If I set the high-speed RPM, the single shunt cannot go up to the high-speed RPM and comes down again.
For example, If I set 2000 rpm, it goes up to 1600 and then drops back to 1000.
Can't single shunt drive at high speed?
Please reply.

Hi @JasonLEE
1) As explained in the earlier query Difference Between Single Shunt and Leg Shunt
the parameters are to be configured based on the shunt configuration.
Please select single shunt operation in "Options page" and configure the below parameters
a) Gate Driver Propagation Delay(Question 86)
b) Enable low noise phase shift current sensing(Question 88)
c) Type of single shunt current sensing (Question 87)
d) Phase Shift Window Size(Question 90)
For details of the above parameters please refer to section
2.1.7.2 Single Shunt Current Measurement
of the iMOTION Software reference manual.

Hi @JasonLEE
There should not be any difference in speed control based on the current sensing mechanism.
Please kindly verify if the config parameters are provided correctly and the shunt mechanism is properly updated.

Hi, @Viswa
The same parameters were entered, but the single shunt could not be raised to high RPM and kept going down.
Legshunt rose to high RPM and maintained well.
Can't you find the cause of this?

Hi @Viswa
Is there any way to improve this symptom?
No matter how many times you set the measurement, it does not go up to high rpm and goes down.
