Hi i use EVAL-M3-IM564 and EVAL-M3-102T.
I use compilers that are "iMOTION Solution Designer" and "MCEDesigner" .

PLL_M is good when the current is small. 
but PLL_M is unstable when motor current is increased.
At that time the motor current is unstable too.

Protection is applied from MCE.
(GateKill, GKPIN)

How to control unstable PLL_M?

I upload some pictures of oscilloscope.

Hi @kkkkjeong,

Motor parameters have to be measured and entered accurately in MCE Wizard for measuring the motor parameters please refer to the document: How to Measure Motor Parameters 

Please make sure the current sensing circuit is capable of measuring higher current and current sensing parameters are configured correctly.

PLLKp and PLLKi are dynamic parameters, it can be modified to get a smooth current waveform depending on load and speed.

Please let us know if any further details are required.

Thanks to replay.

The problem is came up due to "Motor Fast Control Rate (Current control update rate scaler)".
It disappeared when it was lowered(lowest : 1).

So i was able to control at 7200rpm.
But Sometimes the MCE DRV was not control at 7200rpm.

The pattern was same that  previously pictures.
And gate kill fault occur.
It is same changing PLLKp and PLLKi.

 

Can i get another ideas?

Hi @kkkkjeong,

Can you please try following the below steps:

  • Increase the current regulator bandwidth to 2X.
  • Tune Kp and Ki parameters based on the load
  • Please make sure the motor and current sensing parameters are configured correctly.

Can you please share the motor datasheet, Power/Control board schematic and Configuration file(.mc2) or iSD project. This will help us to understand the issue better.
