Hello Team,

Please let me know how to rotate the BLDC motor using sensored algorith.

I have done the sensorless rotation. Need to switch to the sensored operation. Hardware is Okay. 3 halls are connected.

Kindly let me know how to use Wizard to use sensored operation.

How to tune below parameters,

Hi @User22853

Hall angle offset -
Used to align the measured Hall angle signal with the rotor flux. It depends on the mechanical alignment of the Hall sensors with the stator windings. It can be determined by measuring the elecrical angle between DH_1 transition and positive zero crossing of the UV line back EMF and subtracting 90 deg.

Speed threshold for Hall to Flux transition -
This is applicable when the Flux/Hall Hybrid angle option is selected for rotor angle calculation. When this speed is reached, the controller switches to the sensorless flux angle feedback to provide smoother angle estimation. Hall sensor feedback is used to maximize the starting torque and this value must be chosen depending on the application.

Speed threshold for flux to Hall transition -
This selects the speed threshold for flux to hall sensor transition. This value must be lower than the hall to flux transition speed.

Hall Debounce filter time -
This sets the width of the time window on the internal debounce filter applied to the Hall transitions. This should be in the order of a few microseconds to minimize speed inaccuracy at higher speeds.

Hall timeout fault -
This parameter can detect a motor stall. When it is enabled, a zero frequency flag is set when two consecutive hall transition intervals are longer than the threshold time.

Hall invalid fault -
This parameter enables the Hall Invalid Fault that can detect Hall signal integrity errors.

Hari
