The MCEWizard GUI software can merge files (parameters/scripts/MCE firmware) into a *.hex file.

How can we know the checksum value of this *.hex file?

Other questions:

After programmer the *.hex file to the IMC101T-38 chip, how can we read back the *.hex file from the IMC101T chip?

And how can we know the checksum value of this *.hex file?

Hi

MCEWizard generates a .ldf file.

There is no checksum for the file.

We cannot read the .ldf file back from the chip.

Once the part of parameters are written the verify command verifies the code written in to the iMOTION controller.

Best Regards

Hi Viswa,

Thank you for your explanation.

I would like to ask you again and discuss this with you.

As the *.ldf file has versions,

may I inquire if you know or can suggest any methods to check and confirm the file version inside the chip,

to determine if it is my programmed *.ldf file?

Hi @each_4753931

We can read only the software version please refer to section 3.1.9 of the software reference manual.

We propose to use an unused parameter value as a version number or read some known parameter using the UART interface. This will help to know the version of parameter file stored by the user.

Best Regards
