First question asked Welcome!

HI, the IM513-L6A chip is indicated for driving three-phase asynchronous motors as in my case, but the suggested controllers, type Eval-M1-101T are declared for driving permanent magnet motors.

What's the solution ?

Hello @adrianomonari ,

Thanks for posting on the Infineon Community !

The latest software release of iMOTION Motion Control Engine (MCE) includes a script engine together with
the necessary hook-up  only for the open loop V/Hz control for induction motors, which can be implemented using the EVAL-M1-101T control card nd the IM513-L6A inverter also, using the required connectors, etc. For PMSMs both open loop control as well as FOCs can be implemented.

Before we can come up with an optimal solution, can you please let us know the motor and the application for which you want the solution, the voltage, current ratings, the type of control you're looking for.

Regards,
Sai
