Following KBA231373, using Modus Toolbox 2.4. I created a PSoC4 generic project and ran:

>make bsp TARGET_GEN=JoyEmu4127M485 DEVICE_GEN=CY8C4127AZI-M485

Get the error:

ERROR: Setting the target device failed. Invalid device: CY8C4127AZI-M485

How do I add this device so that I can get past the error? Is there a list of supported devices? How do I determine which PSoC4 devices will work with the development tool?

Hi @RoFe_2541336 ,

You can verify if your device is supported in ModusToolbox by doing the following:

1. Create the PSoC 4 Generic project

2. Open Device Configurator 3.1.0 from the quick panel

3. Click on File >> New

4. Then click on the drop down for 'MCU device' as shown below.

Check if your device is present in this list. If it is present then the same is supported.

I check for your mentioned M485 device, but the same is not supported in ModusToolbox.

But the same is supported in PSoC Creator.

Hope this helps.
