Got "Error: DP initialisation failed" At the end of Programming on ModusToolbox

Hi,

I have MiniProg4 connected to the custom board (same chip set as CY8CPROTO-062-4343W)  with JTAG and did a programming. At the end it threw an error message like below. What does it mean and how do I fix it?

Can you please let me know the steps that you followed to use MiniProg4 in JTAG mode? Also, what is the version of ModusToolbox that you are using?

Can you please check and let me know if you observe the same error when debugging the device and when programming with Cypress Programmer?

Hi Rakshith,

There is a programmer header (for JTAG) on my custom PCB. I just connect the cable came with the MiniProg4 to this program header. Then build the project (no issue), and then click on "Launch". That's how I got the error above.

To get this error, I used ModusToobox version 2.2.0 Build ID 2181.

Yes same issue with Program and Debug.

Hi @JoCh_1493306, 

We tried recreating this issue with ModusToolbox 2.2.0 with the same build ID but we were unable to observe the error. We used the CY8CPROTO-062-4343W device for our tests. 

Can you please try with ModusToolbox 2.3 and let us know if you are still observing the issue? Also, do you see the error even with Cypress Programmer?
