Before a DMA transfer can be executed, it is necessary to specify the amount of data and address to be transfer from the source and destination.

The below diagram describe what is needed to configure the source and destination. Do also note that the data will pass through a GPDMA channel FIFO which is always neglected by most user.

Hello,

I am trying to set up a communication between the XMC1100 and a Bosch pressure Sensor via I2C to read out the calibration parameters from the sensor. I tested the communication with a logic analyzer and in Debugging Mode. Both tests were fine. The logic analyzer showed that the sensor sends the required datas back and in Debugging mode I also get datas, cause the Receive Interrupt Flag (RIF=1) is set to read out the datas. But for some reason just the first data Byte is saved. So i just can read out the first data Byte. Any ideas what i am doing wrong?

Hi.

I've got a project in PSOC Designer with CY8CLED04D01-56TLXI device. Last night i could programming with miniprog3, and i turned on all of my four LEDs, but onces turned off 3 LEDs suddenly, only 1 still on. After i try to programming again, but only blinking the target LED, amd nothing happens.

Please help me.

Hi,
I'm working on the Hexgon Kits to drive our own motors, and I try to make the example code Resolver_FOC_Motor_Example1 for XMC4500 work.
I do get the resolver position, and the open loop works fine. But in the closed loop, the motor doesn't rotate and the current in the motor in increasing slowly. Then I found the MCU's current sample results are always near zero and MCU samples phase currents in the wrong time. Here are the sampling time point comparing with the PWM wave form.

The upper 3 are the output PWM wave form, and the 4th is the phase currents sample time point(i_measured interrupt).

And this is just wrong. Because the Kit use shunt resistors to sample phase currents, so the currents should be sampled when the lower bridge arm MOSFET is turned on, e.g. when the output PWM is low. While the wave form shows that the phase currents are sampled when the PWM is high.
Then I thought if I switched interrupt, maybe I can get the result. (in the figure below is the original setting ADCCH001/0 to i_measued, ADCCH001/1 to v_measued). But I got another problem.

I changed the signal connection(ADCCH001/0 to v_measued, ADCCH001/1 to i_measued), pressed the Solve and Save button, then the connection was switched back automatically! I tried many times, and I just can't change the connection.
There are also other problems that confuse me.

In the figure, you can see that the PWMSP001 period match and compare match both trigger the same signal ADC_Trigger, then the ADC_Trigger signal triggers 4 ADC conversions. So does this mean that when the PWM period match and compare match the 4 ADC conversions are all performed? But in the wave form above you can find just one ADC conversion is triggered at the PWM period match or at the PWM compare match. I really don't know how this work and I should say the DAVE is really complex for me.

I use Full mailboxes with the FIFO functionality and I want to have 4 FIFOs in total. Consequently, I link receive mailboxes 0 to 3, 4 to 7, 8 to 11 and 12 to 15 together. Then I set the following IDs for the four groups: 0x10B, 0x30B, 0x50B, 0x70B. IDE is 0 since I want to communicate with 11-bit-COB-IDs. Every configuration until now is done with the GUI.

   

If I run my program and print the contents of my ACR/AMR register to the LCD they do not match my GUI configurations (e.g. the IDE bit is set in the ACR). Why is that? Further, although they are linked together, mailboxes of the same group seem to have slightly different ACR/AMR configurations. Do they simply not apply in the FIFO case or what am I doing wrong?

I am wondering whether there is a choice between an interrupt and a polling mechanism for receiving a CAN message.

   

All examples I found imlement the reception of a message with the automatically generated interrupt routines.

   

Is polling also possible? Therefore I could imagine polling mechanism in the main routine, which checks the CAN_RX_ACK_MSG bit in the CAN_RX[mailboxID].rxcmd register, which signalizes the receipt of a new message, right? If that is the case, lets consider the use of Full CAN mailboxes with FIFO functionality. Can I somehow release a mailbox/message to let it receive a new message or to let a message drop from the beginning of the FIFO?

Hi All,

I have generated 2 PWM's of 10us period with manual dead time generation period of 1us. Both pulses are inverted to each other (as per my requirement).

First pulse = 0 to 70%
Second pulse = Follows first pulse with 1us dead time generation.

Assume, First pulse on time = 70%
Than second pulse on = 30% - 10% = 20% (inverted from first pulse), where 10% = 1us dead time delay before putting on second pulse

BUT,
I need second pulse to be on 1us, 2us, 3us based upon different condition. I tried various ways but it always comes as 20%. I want to make it on with 10%, 20%, 30%.

Can somebody help me?

I am looking to have my PC enumerate two separate USB UART ports using Cypress' PSoC 5LP development board. I haven't found much documentation on how I can achieve this using a single USBFS block, and using two separate USBFS blocks on Creator 3.0 gives be this error. I was hoping someone could point me in a direction.
