Hi,
I am doing a research project using CY8CKIT-042 PSoC4 Pioneer Kit (CY8C4245AXI-483). The prototype device is powered from a battery of 40mAh capacity. After the normal mode operation when I power OFF the device, the uC enters into deep sleep power saving mode. From the deep sleep mode when I connect charger for charging the battery or press the power ON key then uC exits from deep sleep mode and enters into normal mode.
However in an extreme case, the battery was weak while the time I powered OFF the device then in between the deep sleep operation state the battery was fully drained and there was no power source to the device and uC wad fully turned OFF.
After the above scenario, when I connect a power source to the device the expected behaviour is that the device should turn ON automatically due to the reset signal that appears on connecting the power source. However, in some scenario the device didn't turned ON and a re-flashing of the uC was required for turning ON and resuming the expected behaviour.
Can anyone suggest some root cause for this behaviour and what could the possible solution to avoid it?
Thanks in advance.
Show LessHi,
Looking at the latest ModusToolBox 3.2 I couldn't find an Ethercat Example for the board KIT_XMC48_RLX_ECAT_V2.1, is there any plan to port the Dave example to MTB as well?

Show LessMy purpose is to control the private server motor. Because most servo motors are controlled using pulses. So if it involves the acceleration and deceleration of the motor, the interval between each pulse may be different. Therefore, every time the timer is interrupted, the entry time of the next timer will be changed. In STM32, I can make the time into a list. Then directly import the register TIM3->ARR = tim[X]. However, it was found that in XMC1302, it is not allowed to write values directly to the register. But need to use
TIMER_Stop(&TIMER_0);
status = TIMER_SetTimeInterval(&TIMER_0, tim[ X ]);
if (status == TIMER_STATUS_SUCCESS)
{
TIMER_Start(&TIMER_0);
}
This is how you can reset it. But this code runs too slowly. About 60US. This is obviously too long. Is there a faster way?
I found all the sample projects are using hard coded pin configuration.
As an example for "Ethernet_1_KIT_TC397_TFT" project all the pins are hardcoded in files Configuration.h and implementation is in IfxGeth_PinMap.c
And from IDE seems it is not even shows as configured.
After manual configuration it became like below
But all codes are generated in Library directory in mentioned file
Now question is how to use those PIN from program to configure Ethernet for RMII0? Should I need to do it manually reading datasheet?
Is there anyway that those PINs will be automatically configured and I can use the auto generated code directly?

Hi team, I wanted to confirm whether the below EVM board is compatible for CY8CPROTO-063-BLE kit. If not can you share the correct EVM board details.

Thankyou
1. Whether to use ADC or comparator for counter electromotive force
2. Is it only necessary to change the pole pair number to change the motor?

I am getting above error while programming CY8C6245LQI-S3D42 using miniprog-4. There are 2 boards giving same problem. These boards were programmed earlier. Also the programmer setup is confirmed working using another board.
Can anyone help to resolve this issue?
