Hi All,
I would like to warn the community about a bug I believe exists in the WDT1 driver of the TLE987x SDK.
The variable WD_Counter must be defined as volatile. That is because each variable that is manipulated in an Interrupt Service Routine must be defined as volatile in order to prevent the compiler from optimizing it. The WD_Counter is incremented in SysTick_Handler.
I have discovered this bug when I have enabled the compiler optimizations. Then I noticed that the microcontroller has been reset regularly on the WDT1 defined period.
I'm a little bit disappointed that such a simple mistake exists in an official SDK, which perhaps is widely used. It also means that it is not sure how many similar mistakes exist in the other drivers.

I bought TLE9879 eval kit from Infineon for our BLDC WIPER MOTOR application. I have some requirements from my side in our application.
1.EMI/EMC - SHOULD BE IN CLASS 5 - AS A MOTOR & IN VEHICLE.
2.NOISE – ENSURE SMOOTH RUNNING - (harmonic distortion should be reduce).
3.SPEED - DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LOW AND HIGH SPEED MUST BE IN 18 RPM.
4.PARKING POSITION – MUST BE IN ± 2° (expecting ± 1° for BLDC)
5.ENVIRONMENTAL TEST ASPECTS SATISFICATION – (salt, dust, vibration, waterspray, mud etc...)
These requirements are should be satisfied with the EVAL KIT with tuned programming? Could you help me in programming for the above requirements.?

Dear Team,
We have implemented two analog reading at port 2.0 port 2.1 via sequencer. and one through ESM
now we required to take one more analog channel reading via sequencer at port 2.2, but once we do it disturb the LIN communication.
any suggestion or advice will be helpful.

In our application we are trying to send output signal in specific cases via LIN pin to the master. This output signal should be duty modulated PWM signal so we are not trying to communicate via LIN protocol.
I could not find how to send duty modulated PWM data via LIN pin on the board. Is there a way to do it ?

I am new to TLE controllers. I am trying to run a sensorless BLDC motor and reading the current feedback. I used the example code BLDC_BC_BEMF_EXAMPLE_TLE987X and I am able to run the BLDC motor properly using CCU6. While adding the configuration for reading the ADC1_CH1, my callback is getting called by the ADC value is not getting change with changing in the speed value. The ADC configuration is attached with name ADC1_CH1_config.
Also, while change the ccu6 configuration from edge_alligned mode to central-alligned mode, my motor is not running(to read the motor feedback properly in centre-alligned mode)
I am attaching the whole project here.
can somebody please have a look and help me here as I am stuck in this situation for sometime now.

We plan to use a chip from the TLE987x family in development.
Is it possible to protect flash firmware from further reading (readout protect)?
In the documentation, I read that the chip is always available for any operations via SWD. Show Less
