MOTIX™ MCU Forum Discussions
Hello,
I need to configure the SYSWDT on a TLE9893 microcontroller. I would like to understand how to adjust its parameters to set a service window of about 1000 milliseconds.
This is the piece of code I have thus far implemented:
Now, in the comment of SYSWDT_Init() function I claim that the WDTREL parameter value is equivalent to 1013 milliseconds service period, based on the formula given by the microcontroller manual:
From my understanding then, the MCU has 1013 milliseconds to refresh the watchdog timer, otherwise, the SYSWDT will trigger a reset.
From another point of view: the SYSWDT is but an upcounter clocked at 30 MHz (60 MHz CPU_CLK prescaled by a factor of 2). So in order to overflow from 0x0000 (regardless of the WDTREL parameter) to 0xFFFF it would take about 0.0898 milliseconds, which is way shorter! In contrast, the period calculated via formula would be 7864 milliseconds:
So which one is correct? How do I properly configure the SYSWDT?
Also, what is the difference between the SYSWDT and the Fail-safe watchdog within the PMU?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Show LessHello everyone:
In order to protect program code,l want use FastLIN command to protect FLASH.l have tested that use UART to enter BSL mode and protect FLASH.But l can not enter BSLmode when l use FastLIN.
From the below picture , we know the command to enter the BSL mode.
In my project ,l have configure the BSL parameter as below
before l repower on the tle9879 ,l send LIN message as below, and whenl power on the TLE9879,l can not find the receive message:
which step is error that cause l can not enter BSL mode, please tell me ,thank you.

motix系列是按照Infineon-How_can_I_get_access_to_MyICP-Presentations-v01_00-EN.pdf 申请权限吗谢谢!
做一个上位机读取芯片ID,但是查阅手册,好像是要在一个时间内发送指令:00 0A FF 42 53 4C 00 A8;想请教一下这是什么意思,我该怎么理解
Hi everyone,
I'm using the IMC series from the iMOTIX family, and I'm really enjoying all the things I've been able to do. However, now I need to control a three-phase induction motor of around 600W at 22VAC x 3. I read in the IMC documentation and confirmed in this forum that I can't properly control induction motors with IMC motor controllers. Is there still an analog chip to the IMC for induction motor control?
Best Regrads,
Walter.
