Thank you for your kind support,

is there any way to do wake up MCU after VS is goes down to 3V , without POR (Hardware reset)?

Thank you in advanced!!

Hi @RJ_0701,

As mentioned in the previous response once the voltage goes below 1.3V and comes back above 4V then POR will occur and it will enter active mode after start-up.

Thank you

Best Regards

Hi @RJ_0701,

Please refer to the following waveforms for VS supply (ramp-down):

As per this device can operate till P_1.2.3 (Min.) – Extended supply voltage in active mode. In the datasheet, this value is 3V.

Note: Functionality is reduced (for example, cranking pulse); parameter deviations are possible: The electrical parameters of the device may present values outside the range specified within the minimum and maximum values.

This will not cause the POR as long as Vs > 3V and VDDP and VDDC are maintained.

Thank you

Dear Raj,

Thank you so much for your swift reply,

so, once VS goes below 3V, we need to give POWER RESET from power supply by making VS > 4 V to resume the operation?

please confirm.

Hi @RJ_0701,

From figures 18 and 19 of the User manual, you can observe that when Vs goes below 3V (in Power-down sequence) Reset is pulled down and released when Vs > 4V (in Power-up sequence). This will cause RESET_TYPE_2 of reset.

To cause Power on reset Vs has to go below 1.3V (in power down sequence)

Which is a RESET_TYPE_0.

Thank you

Dear Raj Thank you for above information, we need to only understand. if we reduced power below 1.3 and resume power again to 7V of VS, then CPU should come to Active state?
