Hi,
I'm new to MOTIX MCUs and try to get up and running with a
TLE98792QXA40 on the TLE987x EvalBoard.
Just now I'm struggeling with Keil uvision but I would prefer
developing under Linux. According to the information on
https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/microcontroller/embedded-power-ics-system-on-chip-/3-phase-b...
is there an alternative with "IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm".
Does anyone have experiences with IAR and this MCU?
Are the code examples available under IAR also?
Does IAR work good under Linux?
Regards
Volker

Dear Volker
I apologize for the delay in answering. We are trying to support all customer questions as much as possible, although they are more than what we can handle at the moment (we have much-much more out of the Forum, of course). Coming back to your questions:
- IAR support is also available for the TLE987x. We are preparing a Getting Started Guide.
- regarding Linux, you already got the feedback from IAR.
Best regards
Ramius

Just for the record, I contacted IAR sales and got the answers:
- there is a toolchain for Linux but the IDE requires Windows
- the packs are supplied by the MCU supplier, i.e. it should work similar as with Keil

This forum seems rather dead 😞
