Infineon recommends to set the static charge / discharge current for the total turn-on / turn-off time to 600 ns to 1 µs.
--> e.g. Ichg static = Qg(tot) / 600 ns
This applies for the Motor System IC as well for the Multi-MOSFET Driver families.
However, the final verifications must be done in the real customer application.

Hi ,

Good Day!

Thanks for posting your question in Infineon Community.

Charging current and Discharging currents are calculated from the charge stored in Gate-Drain (Qgd), rise time, and fall time.

ICHG = Qgd/trise_target

IDCHG = Qgd/tfall_target

Please refer to table 5, table 7, and table 9 in the application notes TLE92108/TLE92104 – Step-by-step MOSFET driver setting guide and calculator description for different Adaptive Gate Control (AGC) modes.

Best regards,
