Generally, MOSFETs have their absolute maximum ratings for gate-source voltage and drain-source voltage specified in the datasheet. However, I believe drain-gate voltage is not mentioned. Since there is no physical difference between the drain and the source, I think the absolute maximum rating should be equal for gate-source voltage and drain-gate voltage. Is this understanding correct?

Hello,

thanks for the request

No,it will not be same.

We don't connect any voltage source between the Gate and drain so this parameter (Vds) is not required. During turn-off, the gate will be pulled down to the ground and the gate-to-drain voltage will be around the VDs.

Regards,

Vignesh.
