Dear Team,

  Is CoolMOS SOT223  products (eg: IPN60R600PFD7)  wave-soldering compatible? An appnote or KBA reference will be much appreciated.

Thanks for posting your question on this forum.

Yes, you can use wave soldering to populate this product. Please keep in your mind that wavesoldering is only allowed at leads for this package.

All discrete SMD packages are suitable for the standard SMT process “reflow soldering”. But depending  on package size and terminal pitch, wave soldering can be recommended as well. Please find the following AN for the details.
