Hi

I am working on 400W/12V motor control by using single Phase H-Bridge & need calculation data for mosfet.

MOSFET Selection:

Breakdown voltage

BVDSS – 1.3 times the Max Vds applied, if the it is connected to a Battery then the BVDSS should be equal to  VBAT  for the full bridge and 2VBAT­ for half bridge

Drain current Id

 For a easy selection you can check the Id@Tc 100Deg C  in datasheet should be more than the Id-Max Applied.

If you want to optimise for the particular case temperature

Qg,Qrr, avalanche energy, short circuit ruggedness is need to be checked. For more info please refer the below link
