Hello, I would like to ask Infineon's opinion on the accuracy of LTSPICE simulations. Can the models and simulations and actual conditions provided on the official website be considered relatively accurate? It can still only be used to compare the advantages and disadvantages of the 2 devices #Optimos3 ~6

SPICE simulation is a powerful tool for simulating power MOSFETs and has many advantages. For example, it enables designers to quickly evaluate the performance of different devices and compare their characteristics, or optimize their circuit design by iteratively simulating different configurations. Additionally, SPICE simulation can also be used to predict power MOSFET behavior under different operating conditions, such as temperature and load changes.

However, SPICE simulation also has some limitations. For example, the accuracy of simulation results depends on the accuracy of model parameters and simulation environment settings. SPICE simulations may neither capture all the nonlinear effects that occur in real-world circuits, nor can they predict the behavior of power MOSFETs under extreme operating conditions, such as high voltages or high currents.

Note that SPICE models generally describe typical characteristics of the device and are not guaranteed to absolutely represent product specifications and operating characteristics; data sheets are the only documents providing product specifications. Therefore, although simulation is an important tool for evaluating device performance, the limitations of simulation should be fully recognized, and final experimental testing is essential.
