Hi there,
I work at a power electronics company developing EV chargers.
I just wanted to clarify some parameters on the DDB2U40N12W1RF_B11 datasheet. The parameters I wanted to clarify are : IRMSM and IFRMSM. These parameters are listed on Table 3: Maximum Rated Values.
Below is a snippet of the the mentioned table on the DDB2U40N12W1RF_B11 datasheet.
On the picture below, I have drawn my interpretation of these parameters. I am wondering if anyone can confirm my interpretation.
Additionally, the datasheet specified that IFRMSM value is "per chip". Does per chip mean per one diode on the module?
Thanks in advance

Hello @Arturo
Thanks for posting your question in the Infineon community.
The IRMSM that you have mentioned in the image is correct.
The IFRMSM That you have mentioned in image little bit correction is there. The IFRMSM generally considered
from grid side so it will mainly pass the current into diode bridge rectifier.
Please let me know if you need any help
Thanks

Hi Guru,
Thanks for the reply!
I am still not 100% sure about the IFRMSM from your explanation so I drew up another diagram on what I think it is based on your description.
Below is the said diagram. So the diagram shows you the AC source is sinusoidal. So essentially, what I am thinking is that the IFRMS is the rms of the half sinusoid over the Ts time interval.
