I am using two in parallel what am concerned about is that the circuit i am using it in possibly has 5000 amps @ 1ms pulse would this mosfet handle that if vds is 50v or below. i looked at the spec's. on safe operating Graff and it looks like it would handle it? whats your input, thank you. asap

Hi @rockcrystal ,

Based on the PN you provided, the closest product I can find is  IPF015N10N5 .

I don't think  IPF015N10N can survive at 5000A/1ms current pulse, , even if the IPF015N10N operates in the ohmic region and ignores the dynamic effects of multiple MOSFETs in parallel.

In this case, you may need products with wide SOA features, please refer to the following application notes:

Linear FET combines advantages of planar and trench MOSFETs

For Infineon OptiMOS™ Linear FET, please refer to the URL below:

Hi @rockcrystal ,

Thanks for considering Infineon for your design collaboration.

No matches found for "IPF015N05" on the Infineon portal. Does the "IPF015N05" is a right part number?

Could you kindly share the URL for this specific device?

BR,

Neo
