Hi Infineon Team,
do you have any approx. 500W demo- or eval-board for PV inverter applications available? Ideally with wide-bandgap (SiC/GaN).
Thank you!

Hi,
Please refer to the below link for eval-board which closely fits for ~500W PV inverter applications:
https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/evaluation-boards/eval_4kva_230vac_5linv/#!documents
The evaluation board is rated for 4kW, and it offers efficiency greater than 98.7% for output power range of 500W to 4000W.
The above mentioned eval-board is designed to support only standalone single-phase inverter application. However, the design can be upgraded to make it suitable for single-phase grid-tied PV inverter application.
In order to achieve MPPT, we may require an additional DC-DC stage if you wish to use this system as standalone inverter. If it is for grid tied application, then both MPPT and grid current control can be implemented in single stage. Please let us know if you further questions on this topic.
We don’t have eval-board based on wide band-gap devices such as SiC and GaN at this point of time.
Regards,
Dipti
