To Technical Support:
I was wondering if you could provide die verification for one of your products, IRFB38N20DPBF. Upon exposing the die, the markings revealed 746625, 746636, 746647, & 746658. My question is are these markings correct for this device?
Our company does component authentication for a government prime contractor who requires to have the die markings match the external markings exactly or receive verification from the manufacturer.
I have included pictures of the component going through authentication testing and a picture of the die markings revealed post decapsulation .
Thank you in advance for any assistance that you are able to provide.

Hi,
The numbers that we see on the die are the reticle numbers ( the first 4 reticles or masks) used in the processing. The reticle numbers are assigned based on Fab system for each die. These numbers are not the same as the actual part number IRFB38N20DPBF and have no relation to it.
This dies are processed in Fab 2 ( Temecula, CA) and assembled in Tjuana, Mexico.
Thank you,

I am looking for confirmation on the markings that were exposed post-decapsulation. Meaning are the markings that I provided correct or incorrect.
