Hi Infineon
We need to Confirm whether the IFX waterproof MIC has a Sleeping mode and wake-up functions, Thanks!!
I'm using this microphone for photoacoustic detection of gas absorption lines. I know this application is highly unorthodox and not really how the microphone is meant to be used but I still have a question regardless:
Basically the microphone catches the pressure sound wave of a gas that is heated by a laser, hitting one of the gases' absorption lines. The microphone definitely catches the created sound wave and the amplitude is displayed on our Lock In Amplifier.But if I don't change any parameter and wait for let's say 1 minute, the displayed amplitude suddenly sharply rises (from µV to mV!!) and then decreases again. This behaviour is also highly repeatable and deterministic! The amplitude-time plot is attached.
My question therefore is: Is there some kind of auto calibration going in inside the ASIC of the microphone, which adjusts the amplitude of the measured signal? Because for our application we would need the unaltered amplitude for correct plotting of the absorption line.

Show LessThere are discrepancies on the datasheet. Figures 6 and 7 show that the THD at 110dB SPL and below is much lower than 0.1%. However, Table 3 specifies the typical THD at 94dB SPL to be 0.5%. This is a significant difference.

I follow the whole process exactly by referring to this link.
When i play the .wav file, i can only hear the noise .
What can i do to solve this problem?
Show LessI'm using the Infineon Nano Audiohub eval board with the IM69D130 microphones and using Audacity to record the audio.
It appears that the eval board automatically mutes the mic audio when there is no speech. I can record speech all day but as soon as I try using white noise as the sound source the audio mutes. This seems to happen regardless of the audio level. Does this board have some sort of noise blanking? Is there anyway to disable if there is?

I was wondering if an ECAD model existed for the ultrasonic sensor ES – IM70A135UT. I would like to implement it on a PCB card using Kicad, to do so I need the 2D PCB Symbol & Footprint. If not, maybe a similar one exists?
