MEMS microphones Forum Discussions
Hello Community,
Can you recommend a high accuracy MEMS-based sensor that is suitable for heart rate monitoring?
Application such as a digital stethoscope. Thanks.
Show Lesshello everyone
how to understand the parameter of a differential microphone for example IM73A135V01,
the sensitivity is measured under 1Pa peak of 1Pa rms ?
there are two outputs of the microphone, but acoustic specification only have one value ,
for example, the sensitivity -38dBV is for each output ? so if using this microphone , the total sensitivity is -32dBV?
AOP 135 dBSPL is measured on each output respectively or the difference of the two outputs ?
thank you!

Hello, I bought the mems microphone and the XMC 2Go kit, and I want to test the mems microphone through arduino, but the development board management download in arduino always reports an error (), and the XMC series development board cannot be loaded. Check through the forum I found that it may be a network problem, because I am a user in China, I have tried to use vpn, but it does not work, do you have any solutions to solve this problem?
Acoustic Event Detector (AED) where can I get info as mentioned in the Smart Alarm System (SAS) application brief? I am not interested in other parts of the SAS, just the AED. Lot's of marketing hype but no actual hardware links. Frustrating!
Show Less大家好!
在使用麦克风的过程中,我发现一个麦克风焊接后的声音太低。我想知道是什么原因导致这种现象以及如何解决它。
I am testing an IM69D130 microphone on a Shield2Go evaluation board.
I am getting something that I would call quite a large DC offset and that is heavily fluctuating over time.
It is the same using the I2S output of the ADAU7002 ic on the eval board or the direct PDM output of the microphone itself.
The datasheet doesn't mention anything like that at all. Is that really to be expected? (When testing with a similar product from a different vendor it does not happen).
Sine wave recored to a wave file and opened in Audacity:
You clearly see the movement up and down.
Graph of the min (blue), max (red) and avg/offset (green) for every 3000 samples for a total of 30 seconds. When recording a constant sine wave.
When you subtract the green line the others would look clean. So yes one can probably do some form of post processing/filtering. Not sure how good that would work because it fluctuates so much.
Any ideas? Show Less
Hi all,
There aren't the max and min value in the Acoustic characteristics in the datasheet except the sensitivity. when many mics are used same time and executes digital signal processing (eg. ANC) with the data from each mic, I think that the customer should consider the deviation of the acoustic characteristics of each MIC.
Why there is no description them?
For example, how much is the deviation of Individual differences regarding "Typical group delay and phase response"?
Best regards,
H.N
I'm looking for the pin configuration of the flex boards. Especially the configuration of the five pads near the microphone itself. Attached is a picture to make it clear which pads.
Hope there is information about this available.
