First question asked Welcome!

Hello Infineon team,

When thinking about the application for these in vehicle microphones, odds are they will be covered by some sort of beauty piece when installed. I was wondering if the material the cover is made out of assuming metal or plastic has an effect on the voice recognition or sound passthrough. If there is an effect could you provide info on which material has the best voice recognition when placed over these microphones. Thank you.

Hi @Gmaroncelli,

I would recommend to refer to the application note below, regarding the query.
