Hi,
Im using TLE987xQX controller for my college project work, Currently i using UART bootloader and JATG. But i want to know is what if booloader corrupted or something happened to controller like flash lock. Still can i use JTAG for flashing?.is there any provision provided in Infineon controller.
My assumption is using JTAG we can erase and flash any controller

I don't know the TLE987 specifically, but every modern MCU I know supports a ROM-based system bootloader which can be used to erase and progam the onboard Flash. This is usually the default method to de-brick MCUs/boards that became unreachable to the debug interface.
