Hi,
I try to load hex file to XE164FN-40F80L, through USB. I read some memtool doc, without success.
I’m not able to connect memtool : error message ‘’can’t connect to target’’.
The Ic has never been programmed. On my custom PCB I select boot option, for USB with logical level on P10.0 to 3.
The USB ftdi driver is installed : I see two serial USB port.
Question :
Which default configuration file to use? XE164F/G/KN-40F BSL/ASC ?
Do we need to program the IC before using the USB boot and programming through USB feature?
Under memtool : which access device we need to select ? UART over SPS? Comm port? Others?
Many thanks for any helps.

Partially solved. Toconnect from memtool, to XE 164 throught USB and serial : the usb descriptor must be change from ''USB serial port '' default ftdi, to UART to DAS XC.....; I don"t know the exact name: used from old project. After that you can install a dedicated driver for ifineon XE 166 : the 2 usb serial port ( default ftdi ) are changed to one port DAS.... Thus you can connect to device with memtool. Need some help to program the decvice. Many thank's
